Devin is a black lab puppy mix. He came to the shelter as an owner surrender. He acts as if he has been abused when he approaches new people, and by the looks of it, he definitely has been. His paw is ripped open and he limps on it. It looks as if someone had taken a scalpel and cut the skin off. All the skin there is gone, right down to the muscle. That just shows how much dogs are abused today. He was just one innocent puppy, he didn't deserve what he got. It also shows what rescues do for dogs like him, such as Heart for Dog Rescue. Other than that and a few other crusted scabs and scars, he is a very healthy pup. I hope he will find a good home; he definitely deserves it.
